Teen OTAB Meeting

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great winter vacation. I know I had a nice time spending it with my family. Now we all need to work off that turkey and pumpkin pie.
Which reminds me anyone make a resolution list yet?
I did and this year I plan to stick to it! *wondering how long that will last* :P

Anyways, it's time for our first OTAB meeting of the year! I know, I know I have been looking forward to it too. It seems like forever ago since we had our last meeting. So this month it will be Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30pm.

Just in case you have no idea of what OTAB is, it our Oldsmar Teen Advisory Board. Teens like yourself, plan our upcoming programs and activites that we do throught the year. It's actually really fun and we get to socialize and have snacks too!

If you guys have any questions just call the children and teen services desk (813)749-1179.

Hope to see you there,
Miss Holly :)

The counselor is available from 10 am to noon, and again from 1 pm to 3 pm. Please call 813/749-1181 or stop by the reference desk to register.

SCORE will also be presenting a program again for us on January 8 at 6:00 pm: 10 Steps to Start a Successful Small Business. This program is sponsored by Florida Bank Tampa Road/East Lake Branch and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. Please call 813/749-1181 or stop by to register.

"Twilight" the book party!

Hi again everyone! I'm here to remind you all that this Saturday, November 15th, at 9:00 am is the big book sale here at the library. Any of the teens who want/need volunteer hours can come help the Friends of the Oldsmar Library. Just give me a call, or drop in on Saturday, between 9 and 2:00 to help set up, or take down the sale. You can also volunteer to help set up for the Twilight party.

Then, at 6:00 the Twilight party begins, we will have music, games, Twilight themed crafts, and food. There will be prizes given out for various reasons (like winning the Twilight Trivia game), including 2 passes to the movie, and door prizes too! Come dressed as for a prom if you wish, it is not necessary to dress in prom clothes!
We will not be having any parties in December, so this is your last chance for a while to come have fun at the Library! I hope to see you all there! Remember ages 12 and up only, and call 813-749-1179 to register.
TTYL!
:) Miss Heidi
