Teen Read Week! October 12th thru 18th

Hi everybody! This is TEEN READ WEEK 2008, our theme this year is "Books with Bite"!
I guess that's appropriate, what with all the furor over the Twilight series!
Vampire books seem to be v popular right now!
Anyway, come see our Books with Bite display, I've put up lots of books having to do with all sorts of biting; vampires, wolves, dogs, cats, spiders *shudder* etc.

Also, vote for your favorite books; go to our website... www.TBLC.org/opl then click on the "TEEN SERVICES" link, there, you'll see the banner, BOOKS WITH BITE @ your local library. Right under that you'll see the link that allows you to vote for your favorite books of the year in the Teens' TopTen! Go check it out, and vote for your favorites!

That's all for now, don't forget the Teen Advisory Board meeting on Tues. Oct. 21st, at 6:30, and, our Halloween Party on Saturday October 25th! Be sure to wear a costume!
Hope to see you all soon! come by my desk to say "Hi!"
:)
